Your favourite The Little Gym story?

- Among my favorite moments at The Little Gym are the times when kids engage in imaginative play. It has always been humbling for me to see the great imaginative power that kids possess, turning the bars into trees and the beam into a bridge over a roaring river. Once, during one of the classes for 3-4 year olds we agreed that the magic word “Cucumber” will be our signal to start an activity. Kids were asked to first listen carefully for the instructions and then on the signal “1-2-3-Cucumber” they can start and play! It was a great class. Kids went with the flow, completely engaged into their activity. After the class was over, one of the little girls approached my colleague at the reception asking for a sheet of paper. My colleague handed her one. Then the little girl’s mom turned to her and asked: “Now, what are you going to say…?” The kid looked back at her mom baffled. Her mom came to her rescue “Come on… the magic word?” Suddenly the little girl’s face lit in a smile and she shouted out proud: “Cucumber!” We all laughed

How did you get interested in sports?
- Since I was young I have always been very active. From dancing and martial arts to skiing and sport shooting, I have always been involved in a wide variety of activities. However, once it got to serious training I would soon be bored and quit. The repetitiveness of the exercises, doing one and the same thing over and over again would kill all the fun for me. I guess this is what I love at The Little Gym – every class is different and it is never boring.
